Tehran - Polur - Mount Damavand - Tehran
On your desired date and at your desired time, but early in the morning, our
Tehran mountain guide
picks you up from your
hotel in Tehran
and you'll head to Polur village at the base of Mount Damavand.
There are off-road vehicles at the village that will take you to Camp 2, that is
also known as Goosfand-Sara and is located at an altitude of 3040 m above the see
level. You'll sleep at Camp 2 for the night. Early in the morning of the second
day, you'll start trekking towards Camp 3, which is at an altitude of 4250 m and
will be your shelter of the second night. Staying at the third camp for the
night before the final ascent is necessary; it helps you to acclimatize so that
you do not get sick on the next day's ascent. Early in the morning of the third
day, you'll begin your final ascent to the peak (5610 m). You'll take a break at
the summit and after a hot refreshing drink, will head down to the base and
we'll take you to any desired address in Tehran.
Note: You will need wind-proof warm clothes,
a backpack and good boots on this tour. You are advised to bring along your own
clothes and boots from your country. But if you are not willing to do so, we'll
rent the mentioned equipment for you at the best price possible. If you have
